Chia pudding is easy to make and it is perfect for breakfast or snacks. All you have to do is mix all the ingredients and the chia seeds do the rest. These take up the moisture of the vegetable milk, giving you a structure similar to that of pudding. And the nice thing about chiapudding is that you can endlessly combine with flavors and toppings. For this recipe, I used cacao powder to give the pudding extra flavor.
This recipe contains healthy fats, complex carbs, fiber and protein. So it is perfect to start your day with. And the best thing is that you can have chocolate for breakfast without feeling guilty!!
Recipe: Chocolate Chia Pudding
- 4 TBSP chia seeds
- 300 ml almond milk
- 2 TBSP cacao powder
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- strawberries for decoration
- 1 TBSP shredded coconut
Put the chia seeds, the almond milk and the cacao powder in a bowl. Mix everything together until the ingredients are combined. Add some natural sweetener if you like some more sweetness. Put the mixture in a closed bowl. Put in the fridge for at least 4 hours. It should look like a pudding when you get it out of the fridge.
Put the chocolate chia pudding in a bowl. Decorate your pudding with fresh strawberries, shredded coconut and some cacao powder. ENJOY!
