Today I’m giving you some breakfast inspiration! During the week when I have to get up early for work, I don’t really take a lot of time to switch up my breakfast. I always make sure I eat something healthy. But I don’t really put time in making my food look good. During the weekends I always try to put in some extra effort in the first meal of the day :-). Then I make sure my breakfast looks as good as it tastes!
Strawberries are in season at the moment. The color, the taste, it’s one of my favorite fruits! That’s why I made this creamy strawberry oatmeal this weekend. It tasted sooo good I just had to share it with you guys :-).
Recipe: Creamy Strawberry Oatmeal
- handfull of strawberries
- 50 g oatmeal
- 250 ml almond milk
- 1 TBSP agave syrup
- 1 TBSP chocolate sprinkles
- Shredded coconut
Grab half of the strawberries to prepare with the oatmeal. Cut the strawberries in four. Put the strawberries in a bowl together with the oats and the almond milk. Put the bowl in a microwave for 2-3 minutes. Make sure the bowl doesn’t spill. When your oats are ready, put them on the side so they can cool down a little bit. Then grab the other half of the strawberries. Cut a few of them in thin slices. Use the strawberry slices to decorate your oats. Then add a tablespoon of agave syrup on top of the oats to add some sweetness. And finally decorate your oatmeal with some chocolate sprinkles and shredded coconut on top. Now let’s dive into the bowl. ENJOY!
