Is it possible to eat healthy and delicious food at the same time? YES! I have got a great new recipe for you guys: A veggie pizza with cauliflower crust 🙂 Even as a vegan I crave junkfood from time to time. But I don’t like to get in all the calories that a regular pizza has! That’s why I’ve made this healthy pizza. The taste is amazing and after devouring the whole thing it doesn’t leave me bloated and tired. The secret is in the crust. Cauliflower is very low in calories and a big part of the crust is made of cauliflower!
When I’m craving junkfood I also don’t like to spend hours in the kitchen. It has to be easy to make! That’s why I don’t make the crust and the tomato sauce by myself. You only have to cut some veggies and putt it on your pizza. The hardest part is waiting 10-15 minutes when your pizza is in the oven :-p For the tomato sauce I use simple tomato sauce that you would use as spaghetti sauce.
Recipe Veggie Pizza With Cauliflower Crust
Ingredients for 2 pizzas
- 2 cauliflower pizza bottoms
- 500ml tomato sauce
- 15 cherry tomatoes
- 15 dried tomatoes
- 2 hands full of spinach
- 1 onion
- 15 mushrooms
- 1 bell pepper
Preheat your oven on 250 degrees. Start with cutting the bell pepper, the onion, the mushrooms and the cherry tomatoes. Grab your cauliflower pizza bottoms. Put the tomato sauce on your pizza bottom. Divide the sauce until it’s spread evenly. I like to put a lot of tomato sauce on my pizza because then the pizza won’t taste dried out. After you spread the sauce on the pizza bottom you can start adding your ingredients. Divide the vegetables evenly on your pizza. When your pizza is ready you can pop it in the oven. Bake your pizza in 10-15 minutes on 250 degrees. Check the pizza regularly. When your veggie pizza is ready get it out of the oven and ENJOY!
You can adjust the ingredients to your own preferences. If you like mushrooms add more of them. If you dislike dried tomatoes don’t put them on your pizza :-p!
