Home made almond milk is a perfect alternative to cow’s milk. The homemade version is so much creamier and much more filling than the store bought version. Almond milk is amazingly versatile. You can add a dash to your coffee, splash it over your cereal, make porridge with the plantbased milk or just drink a full glass of creamy milk.
I prefer to drink a glass of almond milk in the evening. This prevents me from eating all the chocolate, chips and candy in the house. I also make a warm milk during cold winter days. My body loves something filling and sweet in the evening. By drinking almond milk I feel fulfilled without getting bloated.
To make plantbased milk you don’t need much ingredients. If you want to you can only use almonds and water. You can adjust the taste to your personal preference. You can add vanilla extract, chocolate, plant based sweeteners, … I like to make the milk sweeter by adding a date.
