Today I’m sharing one of my favorite recipes with you guys! Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes 😀 Yum. If you’re a peanut butter addict (Welcome to the club :-p) then you just HAVE to make these cupcakes. I made these cupcakes so I could have a sweet snack that is healthy at the same time!
I used PB2 powder in stead of peanut butter for these cupcakes. If you don’t know PB2 powder yet.. It’s peanut butter in powder form. When you mix it with water you get peanut butter, but without the fat. I know what you’re thinking now.. Whatt?? Peanut butter without fat?? Hallelujah!
These peanut butter cupcakes are my guilty pleasure, without feeling guilty :-D. I also add protein powder to the dough. But this is totally up to you if you want to do that. I add protein powder because this helps me with reaching my fitness goals. When you add more protein to your diet your body can recover better after your gym session.
Recipe Peanut Butter Cupcakes
- 3 ripe bananas
- 6 TBSP Cacao Powder
- 1 TSP baking powder
- 16 TBSP PB2 powder
- 235 ml water
- 2 scoops protein powder (if you want to up your protein intake ;-))
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Put all the ingredients in a food processor. Mix the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture. Grease your cupcake tins. Pour the mixture into the cupcake tins. Put in the oven for 30 minutes. The cupcakes can still look a little bit wet when you get them out of the oven. Get them out anyway and allow to cool completely. Then remove the cupcake tins. Take a bite and ENJOY!
